Pep Guardiola says Bernardo Silva was injured as he was substituted in the first half of Manchester City's Champions League win over Crvena Zvezda on Tuesday.

There had been no indication of a knock to the Portuguese, and he took a seat on the bench rather than heading down the tunnel for treatment.
Guardiola had shouted at the latest member of his captaincy group shortly before, and did not look at Bernardo as he walked off. Speaking after the game, the manager offered clarity on the situation, saying the midfielder will miss at least the next Premier League fixture against Nottingham Forest.

"I didn't speak with doctors but he's out for the next games," Guardiola said.
City already have four key players on the injury list, with Kevin De Bruyne out long-term, along with Mateo Kovacic, John Stones and Jack Grealish. Bernardo's latest problem compounds the problems for a thinning squad and plenty of fixtures coming up.
Offering an update on Kovacic, Stones and Grealish, Guardiola said only Kovacic as a chance of playing against Forest at the weekend, adding: "We are in trouble."
"When we have five important players - really really important players - injured so sustain that for a long time will be difficult. But it is what it is," he said.
