Manchester United have agreed terms to sign Brighton starlet Toby Collyer.
The Manchester Evening News understands that, though the deal is not yet officially completed, United do have a package in place to sign the 18-year-old on a three-and-a-half-year deal. Collyer has been on trial at United for the past month with his contract at Brighton coming to an end in the summer and he impressed in a friendly match against Huddersfield Town.
Now Collyer is set to become the latest addition to United's ever-growing academy, with the club always on the lookout for the brightest talents in England and further afield. Below is everything you need to know about the club's latest recruit.

If United making a move for him didn't already make it clear, Collyer is a very highly-rated young player and has been for some time. He made his debut for Brighton's Under-18s just a few weeks after turning 15 and he has grown from strength to strength following on from that six-minute cameo in 2019.
His talent was also spotted by England's talent scouts and he was soon in the national youth ranks, too, playing a game for the Under-15s before quickly moving on to the Under-16s. He represented the Young Lions on several occasions in the 2019/20 season before it was derailed, showing his versatility by also filling in at left-back in a 4-0 win over Denmark.
