Twelve familiar faces will be skating onto our screens as Dancing on Ice returns for its sixteenth edition. The celebrities will team up with a professional partner to perfect and show off their dancing skills - while donning a pair of skates on an ice rink.
The ITV competition series will see one star eliminated each week, with the strongest few battling it out for victory in the final. Among those taking part this year is Olympian Greg Rutherford.
The retired track and field athlete will be partnered with professional skater Vanessa James. The Milton Keynes lad, who is also an MBE, impressively became the youngest ever AAA Long Jump champion at just 18 years old. He went on to win medals representing Great Britain in the World and European Championships, and England at the Commonwealth Games.

Greg, now 37, did Great Britain proud when he won gold in the long jump during London's 2012 Olympic. He also secured a bronze in 2016, when Rio De Janeiro hosted the international event. An ankle injury forced him into retirement just two years later.
Still passionate about the exciting world of sport, Greg went on to work for broadcaster Eurosport. In a full-circle moment, he covered the 2020 summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
Greg reckons his sporting background means he'll face 'high' expectations on Dancing On Ice, but he reassured: "There's absolutely zero crossover." He continued: "[For] anybody that's ever done sport, there is always a thing of, 'you'll be good at this because it's a sport.'
