While everyone looking forward to Parklife have likely got their minds focused on what acts their going to see, it's always best to arrive prepared.
After all, the last thing you want is to get all dressed up in your festival outfit only to be stuck at home because you didn't sort out a way to get to Heaton Park. This year, Parklife will be kicking off on Saturday, June 11 and will attract around 100,000 festival-goers.
On Saturday, the gates will open at 11am and close at 11pm, while Sunday will have a slightly later start at 12pm but will still run until 11pm. However, the last entry to get onto the festival site will be at 5pm on both days with re-admittance not being allowed after leaving the festival site.

This year's lineup will include some heavy-hitter artists such as rap icon 50 Cent, international star Tyler, The Creator and Scotland's finest Lewis Capaldi among others. If you don't want to miss all that, we would recommend you get familiar with how to get to Heaton Park.
Fortunately, the 600 acres of land isn't hard to miss. Festival organisers have advised those travelling to Heaton Park to head to the Lakeside Car Park on Sheepfoot Lane, or if you’re driving and dropping someone off, the Sainsburys on Middleton Road is your best bet.
There are also plenty of ways to get there, including the Metrolink which provides a very convenient stop right outside the park's gates.
Big Green Coach will also be offering its services as the festival's Official Travel Partner once again this year. A carbon-neutral Day Return coach can be booked by festival-goers which is definitely more
