It's been eight years since musical theatre five-piece Collabro won the eighth series of Britain's Got Talent.The boyband formed in January 2014, and just a month later they auditioned for BGT and received a standing ovation from judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams. Collabro, which was originally made up of Michael Auger, Jamie Lambert, Matthew Pagan and Thomas Redgrave and Richard Hadfield, received a yes from each of the judges without hesitation, and they went on to be crowned the winners of the series.

Collabro's second album, Act Two, was released the following year and it made it to number two in the charts. Their first UK tour included a sold-out date at London's Palladium, and they also went on to perform across the world, including in countries such as Japan, Canada and America.
While the band had enjoyed a lot of success thanks to their BGT win, in 2016 Richard, 29, announced he was leaving Collabro, with sources close to the singer claiming he'd been "unhappy for a long time". Rumours began circulating that he'd left in order to pursue a solo career, but he later explained that wasn't the case.
Richard told The Mirror: "I can assure you I am far happier in the direction I am going and that I am no longer subject to the politics and manipulation that took place during my time in Collabro.
