Manchester United and Manchester City are not far away from discovering who they will be facing in the Champions League this season.
Pep Guardiola's team are looking to recreate their historic success from June when they won the elusive competition for the very first time. 2023/24 will be a year of firsts for United too as Erik ten Hag guides the Reds into their first Champions League campaign since his arrival.
With City hoping to reclaim their crown and United hoping to put in a strong showing after their 12-month absence, both sets of supporters will be eyeing the Champions League group stage draw.

MEN Sport has taken a look at all you need to know about the draw.
The draw for the group stages of the Champions League will take place on Thursday, August 31. It is expected the draw will begin at 5pm UK time.
Having won the Premier League and Champions League, we know City will be in Pot One. They cannot be drawn against any other team from their same association or pot in the group stages.
The other teams in Pot One are; Sevilla, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Napoli, PSG, Benfica and Feyenoord.
United will need to wait until all teams have qualified for the Champions League before discovering which pot they will be allocated.
Below is the list of teams who have also qualified for the group stages of the Champions League but have not yet been allocated a pot.
