Red Nose Day is back for its 36th year, raising money to help end child poverty in the UK and around the world.
Until 2021, Red Nose Day was held every other year, but now it will be held annually.
The run-up to the big day usually involves fundraising events across the UK for charity Comic Relief.

TV specials are also aired throughout the week, concluding with a live Comic Relief telethon, hosted by co-founder Lenny Henry.
In 2021, an amazing £52,025,485 was raised and more than £1 billion has been drummed up since Red Nose Day began.
This year's telethon will take place on Friday, March 18, from 7pm.
It will be broadcast live from MediaCityUK in Salford, Greater Manchester.
Alongside Sir Lenny Henry, hosting the charity event will be Zoe Ball, Paddy McGuinness, Alesha Dixon and David Tennant.
Joel Dommett and AJ Odudu will also be joining the line-up.
The three-hour long comedy special will feature hilarious sketches, live performances and big surprises from stars across TV, film and music.

The most popular way to support the cause is to buy one of the iconic bright red noses to wear on the day. All of the money made goes straight to the charity.
You can bag yourself a Red Nose Day red nose in Sainsbury's stores as well as online.
Each one costs £1.50, with at least 75p going to Comic Relief.
