Manchester United supporters have been expressing their concerns over the club’s lack of transfer activity after Liverpool confirmed the signing of Darwin Nunez.
The former Benfica striker, who netted 34 times in 41 games this season, was being targeted by Erik ten Hag. Earlier this month, reports claimed that the player’s representatives had been in England to meet with a number of Premier League clubs.
United were thought to be one of them. Liverpool registered their interest in the player too and entered discussions with the Uruguayan last week.

And on Tuesday they officially unveiled Nunez as their new No.27. United fans have watched rivals Manchester City secure Erling Haaland with Tottenham also active in the market. Even Arsenal, who finished fifth, have managed to bring in an attacker.
Meanwhile, United are yet to land anyone, with pursuits of Frenkie de Jong and Jurrien Timber being dragged out. As a result, several fans have taken to Twitter to air their concern after Nunez’s Liverpool switch.
@XSVSENSE: Liverpool got Darwin Nunez done so fast. What the **** are united doing.
@Mn3eer: BRO im trying to act like I don’t care but it’s been three weeks of “interested” in De Jong. Liverpool wanted Nuñez and five days later he’s doing the medical tests, same for Haaland and Spurs signings. THIS CLUB IS SO ******* ****.
