For Rafit Hussain the sights and sounds remain as vivid today as they did 20 years ago.
On Saturday, May 26, 2001, Mr Hussain was making his way home when he saw some teenagers throwing stones at a car in Glodwick in Oldham.
He didn't know it at the time, but he'd wandered into the midst in one of Britain's worst race riots.
