Two professional cleaners have shared their 'satisfaction' at cleaning a house buried 3ft deep in plastic bottles and other 'horrendous smelling' rubbish.
Wayne Moran and cousin Lee Moran, who co-own ASAP Clearances, were called to the two-bed terraced house in Wigan last week (April 25) when the landlord refused to enter after seeing the mess. Even Wayne and Lee were left stunned at seeing the hoard like mess that left them struggling to enter the front door.
This forced them to tunnel their way in through the waste deep filth of bottles, clothing, rotting food, and cat food packets. Furniture was completely submerged beneath this rubbish that took two whole days to clear up.

It filled four vans for the tip and left them feeling so dirty that they had to have bath when they got home. But, they said it was one of their most satisfying jobs to date and were happy the landlord was able to get the property back on the market.
Wayne, from Wythenshawe, said: "The landlord had let it out to somebody and [when they] came back that was in the state it was in. I don't know how long they rented it out for. We couldn't get in the front door, we just had to squeeze in. We had to start from outside the house and pass things out just to make a space to get in. We had to wade our way through each room.
"[On the sofa] they just left a small gap so they could sit on one seat I think. It was up to our waists - about 3ft deep. There were a lot of different kinds of bottles knocking around - alcoholic ones and fizzy pop ones. There was also general food waste, clothes and general household items."
