Arctic Monkeys have brought recent single ‘Body Paint’ to German TV ahead of the release of new album ‘The Car’ this Friday (October 21) – see the performance below.‘Body Paint’ was released last month as the second single from the band’s seventh album, following first taster ‘There’d Better Be A Mirrorball’.The band have already performed the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and last week (October 11) they headed to the Late Night Berlin TV show to air a performance of the track.Reviewing ‘Body Paint’, NME wrote: “‘Body Paint’ may conjure up all the stirring emotions from ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’ but the riveting track is proof that the band have no issue creating something otherworldly, even when the subject matter is far closer to earth.”Watch them perform it on German TV below.Last week, the band also added European headline dates to their 2023 world tour.

Megan Thee Stallion performed ‘Anxiety’ and ‘Plan B‘ from her latest album ‘Traumazine‘ while hosting last night’s (October 15) episode of Saturday Night Live.The rapper, who was both host and musical guest, made her third appearance on the late night TV sketch show. In 2020 she performed ‘Savage’ and in 2019 she supplied her guest verse to Chance the Rapper’s ‘Handsome’ on the show from his album ‘The Big Day‘.In an earlier monologue, Megan mentioned the mental health website Bad Bitches Have Bad Days Too, which was inspired by ‘Anxiety’.The Houston rapper also performed ‘NDA’ from ‘Traumazine’.

A bus carrying 36 migrants arrived in Washington, D.C., Thursday morning outside Vice President Kamala Harris' home. Additionally, three more buses dropped off migrants at the Port Authority transit hub in New York City. Harris' residence at the Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C., has become a recurring destination for migrants being transported out of border states to sanctuary cities.

Critics slammed Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday for referring to America's youth as "our children" during her interview with late night talk show host Seth Meyers.  "When you see our kids, and I truly believe that they are our children, they are the children of our country, of our communities, I mean, our future is really bright if we, if we prioritize them, and therefore prioritize the climate crisis and the need to address it. If we think about our children, prioritizing the need to bring our country together," Harris said.  Harris and Meyers were discussing a photo of the vice president surrounded by children in a classroom in Connecticut.

A Texas border mayor called out both parties Monday on "America's Newsroom," arguing Republicans and Democrats are the "root cause" of the border crisis.  "It is a crisis relative to immigration and border security. And unfortunately, we have a tendency to look beyond our borders for the elusive root causes when in reality and unfortunately, the fact remains that politicians on both sides of the aisle are the root cause," said Rio Grande City, Texas Mayor Joel Villarreal.  Villarreal said no mayor or governor should "bear the burden" for what he described as a "broken immigration system."  Villarreal said he is not confident the influx of illegal immigration will end because "neither party has delivered immigration reform in several decades." Vice President Kamala Harris visited Austin this weekend, but declined to make a stop at the southern border.

The 54-year-old talk show host is father to Katie, 31, Kevin, 29, Jane, eight, and five-year-old William from various relationships and joked that his youngest is a "little screwy" but is doing well as he prepares to undergo a third round of open heart surgery. Another bus carrying illegal migrants stepped off the bus in Washington, D.C., Thursday morning, not far from Vice President Kamala Harris' residence. Additionally, two more migrant buses arrived in New York City at Manhattan's Port Authority transportation hub Thursday. Seven buses arrived in New York on Wednesday.

Chopra, 40, moderated a panel at the Democratic National Committee’s Women’s Leadership Forum in Washington on Friday, and talked with Vice President Kamala Harris about the importance of women’s rights.  "Do you hear that sound? That is the sound of no mansplaining, ladies," Chopra joked in the beginning of the session, according to Reuters.  "The Matrix Resurrections" star discussed how men patronize women and "mansplains" them.  Vice President Harris suggested female Democrats need to fight for reproductive rights and noted how voting for Democratic senators in November’s midterm elections is important. The Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins took to the stage at tonight’s (September 27) Taylor Hawkins tribute concert in Los Angeles, joining the members of the late Foo Fighters drummer’s side project, The Coattail Riders, to perform a four-song set.The band, formed by Hawkins in 2004, released three studio albums – 2006’s self-titled effort, 2010’s ‘Red Light Fever’ and 2019’s ‘Get The Money’.At the London tribute concert for the late Foo Fighters icon earlier this month, Justin – who bears no relation to Taylor – joined The Coattail Riders to perform ‘Louise’ (from the 2006 album) and ‘It’s Over’ (from ‘Red Light Fever’), as well as ‘Range Rover Bitch’ from Hawkins’ 2016 solo EP, ‘Kota’.They played the latter two songs again tonight, but swapped ‘Louise’ out for two covers: ‘Something About You’ by Level 42 – performed with the English jazz-funk outfit’s frontman, Mark King – and The Darkness’ own 2003 hit ‘I Believe In A Thing Called Love’. Courtney Barnett made an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers this week, tailing her just-finished North American tour with a performance of ‘Turning Green’.The song appears on Barnett’s recent third album, ‘Things Take Time, Take Time’, which arrived last November via Mom + Pop. She performed it with her current backing band of bassist Bones Sloane, drummer Dave Mudie and Warpaint‘s Stella Mozgawa – with whom Barnett recorded ‘Things Take Time, Take Time’ – on keyboards.Both Barnett and Mozgawa play percussion in the performance, with the former playing cowbell and the latter playing tambourine. Have a look at the performance below:Having just finished her tour of North America, Barnett and her band are gearing up for a trek across Europe and the UK, which will kick off in Munich on Friday October 28.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs played a small show in Chicago earlier this week, where the trio debuted a new song from soon-to-be-released fifth album ‘Cool It Down’.The show was announced earlier this month and took place at the Metro in Chicago on Monday night (September 19). The band played unreleased song ‘Lovebomb’ – a slow-burner built around shimmery, atmospheric synths – and four other cuts from the band’s first album in nearly a decade, which is set to arrive next week.Other ‘Cool It Down’ tracks on the setlist included the album’s lead single – the Perfume Genius-assisted ‘Spitting Off The Edge of The World’ – and last month’s ‘Burning’, along with the unreleased ‘Fleez’ and ‘Blacktop’, both of which the band have been previewing on tour in recent months.
