Roger Waters was the musical guest on last night’s (June 21) episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert – watch him perform a medley of songs below.The former Pink Floyd frontman appeared on the show backed by a full band, a pianist and some backing singers. The medley included ‘The Happiest Days Of Our Lives’, ‘Another Brick In The Wall, Part 2’ and ‘Another Brick In The Wall, Part 3’ from Pink Floyd’s 1979 album ‘The Wall’.The performance comes ahead of his ‘This Is Not A Drill’ tour, which was originally set to begin in 2020 but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.“This Is Not A Drill is a groundbreaking new rock & roll/cinematic extravaganza, performed in the round,” Waters wrote in a statement (via Rolling Stone).

Alvvays have announced they’ll kick off a North American headline tour in October, and have also seemingly teased new music.The Canadian dream pop outfit will commence the run on October 14 in Chicago, continuing along with shows in Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Texas, Washington, Philadelphia, New York and more before wrapping up November 18 in Boston. Turnstile have shared an official music video for their ‘Glow On’ album cut ‘New Heart Design’, alongside the news of a North American theatre tour slated for October.The video offers newcoming fans a preview of what to expect from the tour, comprising a montage of shots filmed during their recent stints in North America and Europe. Shot entirely on 16mm film, it was co-directed by singer Brendan Yates and longtime collaborator Ian Hurdle, the latter of whom captured the concert footage. As for the song itself, the version of ‘New Heart Design’ featured in the video sports an extended ambient outro. Comedian Patton Oswalt stars alongside James Morosini in the South by Southwest Winner “I Love My Dad.” Morosini most recently starred in “Sex Lives for College Girls,” but in his latest project, the actor wrote, directed and stars in the feature. “I Love My Dad,” is inspired by James Morosini’s real-life relationship with his father.  Morosini’s character, Franklin, and his estranged father, Chuck’s (Oswalt) attempt to reconnect with Franklin. As seen in the trailer, the film shows precisely how far Chuck will go to connect with his son after being blocked on social media.
