Waterloo Road star Adam Thomas starts his Strictly Come Dancing journey on screen this weekend. But his very first attempt at a dance routine came back in 2015 - when the MEN was there to capture every brilliant move.
Adam will be hoping to impress millions of viewers on the hit BBC show with his grooves in the weeks to come. But back in 2015, it was family and friends he was hoping to impress when he sprang a surprise dance routine at his wife Caroline's ABCD dance school annual ball in Altrincham.
Former Emmerdale star Adam, alongside his Coronation Street legend brother Ryan Thomas, joined fellow dads in putting together the hilarious group routine. It was the first time the brothers had ever tried to learn a choreographed dance - and both admitted how tough they found it.

The "Dancin’ Dadz" crew spent five weeks learning their moves before unleashing the brilliant high energy routine on the day to whoops and cheers from the audience. They came out on stage wearing masks before revealing their faces to the shock and delight of their family and friends in the crowd.
In the video, which you can watch above, the dads are seen busting out a serious of street dance moves, including some robots, caterpillars and even some back flips. Towards the end of the routine Ryan and another dad whipped off their t-shirts to reveal tight lycra underwear.
Adam admitted at the time he found his first ever dance routine pretty tough. He told the MEN back then: "It’s not as easy as it looks to learn a dance routine is I think what we’ve all learnt from the experience."
