The Strokes are back with another new track, “Bad Decisions.” They previously performed the song at a Bernie Sanders rally in New Hampshire. RZA has directed a new movie called Cut Throat City. The heist film follows a group of childhood friends in a post-Hurricane Katrina New Orleans trying to make ends meet. Cut Throat City stars T.I., Terrence Howard, Wesley Snipes, Ethan Hawke, Eiza González, Shameik Moore, and others. The film hits theaters April 10. Watch the official trailer below.

The Strokes played a set at Bernie Sanders’ rally in Durham, New Hampshire Monday night (February 10). During their performance, the band played a brand new song called “Bad Decisions,” premiered the video for “At the Door,” and at the end, Julian Casablancas said, “Album’s coming out April 10.” (Further details of The New Abnormal—and the official “At the Door” video—were unveiled the following morning.) Hamilton Leithauser has shared a teaser for the first single off his next album. In it, the former Walkmen singer decides to play his new song “Here They Come” for a friend, Ethan Hawke.

Sharon Van Etten is back with a new single. It’s called “Beaten Down,” and it’s accompanied by a new music video directed by Nicky and Juliana Giraffe. The visual features Van Etten and dancers Allison and Veronica Huber. “Our goal was to create a striking and psychedelic video set in the California desert, a welcoming of Sharon’s next chapter here,” the Giraffes said in a statement. Rustin Man—the solo project of former Talk Talk bassist Paul Webb—has announced a new album. Clockdust arrives March 20 via Domino. Today, Webb has shared the LP’s lead single “Jackie’s Room.” Watch its moody music video, directed by Edwin Burdis, below.

Next week, New York-based electronic composer Nicolas Jaar will revisit his Against All Logic alias for a new album called 2017 – 2019. In preparation of the project's February 7 release, Jaar has shared a new two-song EP featuring “Alucinao,” a collaboration with FKA twigs.

New York experimental quartet altopalo have announced their sophomore album. It’s called farawayfromeveryoneyouknow and it arrives April 24 via Samedi. Ahead of the new record, they’ve shared the new single “honey,” as well as a string of North American tour dates.
