Florence + The Machine have shared details for a five-date Australian and New Zealand tour, taking their upcoming ‘Dance Fever’ album Down Under in the first quarter of 2023.The run will start in Perth on Saturday March 4, when Florence Welch and co. take to the stage at the RAC Arena.

Both tracks were given a live debut when they kicked off the tour at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall on April 20.The following night at the same venue, they performed latest single ‘Looking High’ live for the first time.

British singer Tom Grennan has revealed the extent of his injuries after he was attacked outside a bar in New York on Wednesday evening.

Tom Grennan is recovering following an “unprovoked attack” outside a bar in New York earlier this week, which resulted in the cancellation of a performance in Washington DC, which was due to take place tonight.The musician’s manager, John Dawkins of Various Artists Management, said in a statement last night: “In the early hours of this morning after Tom’s New York show he was the victim of an unprovoked attack and robbery outside a bar in Manhattan. Tom is currently in hospital being assessed by doctors for his injuries which include a ruptured ear, torn eardrum and issue with his previously fractured jaw”.He added that Grennan was in “good spirits” but will need to “temporarily recuperate whilst doctors assess his ability to continue with his touring”.

Sam Fender has announced details of an intimate charity show that he’ll play in Newcastle next month.The ‘Seventeen Going Under’ artist will return to his native north east on May 24 for a special gig at Newcastle’s O2 City Hall, marking the first time that he will have played live at the 2600-capacity venue.The show will raise money for North East Homeless, who provide support to those who are vulnerable and homeless in the north east of England, as well as food and emergency equipment at street outreach sessions.Fender, who is a patron of the charity, dedicated his BRIT Award for Alternative/Rock Act to the organisation back in February.This is going to be next level.
