Witch Fever have announced their debut album ‘Congregation’ – listen to the title track below.The Manchester four-piece will release the LP, which was produced by Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs’ Sam Grant at Blank Studios in Newcastle, on October 21 via Sony’s Music For Nations.The lyrics of ‘Congregation’ were largely inspired by singer Amy Walpole’s experience of growing up in a Charismatic Church, a form of Christianity that emphasises the work of the Holy Spirit, spiritual gifts and modern-day miracles. She left the church when she was 16, and her parents followed suit two years later.“As our first album we’re really excited to just get it out there,” Walpole said in a statement about ‘Congregation’. “We feel that it’s a step above what we’ve done before as we had a chance to experiment with sound and structure.

Rina Sawayama has announced that she will release her second album, ‘Hold The Girl’, later this year.The announcement comes after the musician began sharing imagery proclaiming that “Rina Is Going To Hell”, while also wiping her Instagram account, in recent days. Now she’s announced that the album will be out on 2 Sep, sharing a 40 second trailer with some snippets of the new music.‘Hold The Girl’ follows her acclaimed 2020 debut album ‘Sawayama’, which sparked controversy around the eligibility rules for the Mercury Prize, after it was not – as had been widely expected – included in the shortlist for that year’s edition of the award.

Matt Helders has spoken about Arctic Monkeys’ upcoming new album, saying that musically it “picks up where ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’ left off”.The Sheffield four-piece have yet to officially announce the follow-up to their May 2018 album, but new music from the band is expected to arrive this year given that the Monkeys are heading out on tour in August.AM drummer Helders has now given fans an indication about what to expect from their next record. aespa made their debut appearance at Coachella last night (April 23) and debuted a brand new song called ‘Life’s Too Short’ during their set.The SM Entertainment girl group are now the third K-pop girl group to perform at the festival, following BLACKPINK in 2019 and 2NE1 at last weekend’s edition of the event.aespa performed as part of 88rising’s main stage takeover alongside the label’s own acts including NIKI, Warren Hue, Rich Brian and more. Their song featured five songs, opening with ‘aenergy’, the first track from their debut mini-album ‘Savage’, which was released last year.“It‘s our first time performing in front of a large audience like this,” they told the crowd, as per The Korea Herald.

aespa have shared new details about their upcoming projects, including their Coachella debut this weekend and an upcoming album.In a recent interview with Billboard, the K-pop quartet dropped several hints about new projects, including their debut performance at the upcoming second weekend of the Coachella festival. aespa will be appearing on the festival’s main stage on April 23.Earlier this week, in an announcement confirming aespa’s Coachella appearance, it was confirmed to NME that the group are set to perform an unreleased track during their set, which will also include other past hits such as ‘Savage’, ‘Next Level’ and ‘Black Mamba’.Winter has since revealed details about the unreleased track, titled ‘Life’s Too Short’, telling Billboard that it will be a cut from a new album from aespa.
