The Smile have released their Paul Thomas Anderson-directed music video for ‘Friend Of A Friend’ – watch it below.The Smile have dropped their second album ‘Wall Of Eyes‘ today, and to celebrate, they’ve released a video of the trio performing to their toughest crowd yet: a room full of kids.With the lyrics based on pandemic-era videos of Italians singing to each other on their balconies, Thom Yorke begins with a sprightly bass line and some fairly wholesome lyrics: “I can go anywhere that I want / I just gotta turn myself inside out and back to front”. But Anderson’s camera captures the sprogs looking rather unimpressed.

Filmmaker Asmae El Moudir, making her feature directorial drama, starts her non-fiction film “The Mother Of All Lies” as a modest family chronicle—an elevated home video of sorts. It is soon clear, though, that she has much more on her mind because the actual subject of her inquiry is the collective amnesia around a seminal event that changed Morocco forever, the 1981 Casablanca bread riots.

Bring Me The Horizon member Jordan Fish is working on new music with Spiritbox, it has been revealed.Last month, BMTH announced that they’d parted ways with keyboardist, songwriter and studio wiz Fish. “We want to thank him for the musical journey he took with us and wish him luck with everything in the future,” they wrote.Oli Sykes and co. have since embarked on a UK and Ireland arena tour, which is scheduled to run until next Tuesday (January 23).
