Wanda Sykes called on white people to step up in the fight for racial justice on the latest at-home episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, reiterating a message she initially shared in a nearly 14-minute video earlier this week. In the Instagram video, the actress shared her thoughts on George Floyd's death and the nationwide protests against police brutality that ensued as a result.

Cannes may not be taking place this year, but the festival did announce their lineup of official selections on Wednesday. It includes two films from director Steve McQueen, who says he is dedicating them to the memory of George Floyd.

Wanda Sykes is calling on white people to “step up” to combat racism as Americans take to the streets to protest the death of George Floyd.

On June 1, Seth Rogen proudly posted a ‘Black Lives Matter’ banner on his Instagram page to support the black community following George Floyd’s death. While many people applauded him for publicly speaking out against injustice, Seth also received plenty of hate in the comments section of his post. Rather than ignore the hateful comments, though, Seth took the time to reply to dozens of them with expletive-filled messages, and fans are praising him for being so vocal.

Eva Marcille has been sharing all kinds of videos and messages on her social media account following George Floyd’s death in order to raise awareness about racism and more. But some of her fans are asking her why she did not do this sooner.
