W.S. ‘Fluke’ Holland, drummer for Johnny Cash, dies aged 85

Two and a Half Men actress Conchata Ferrell has sadly died at the age of 77.The star is best known for her role as Berta in the comedy hit show, which also starred Charlie Sheen. According to Deadline, Conchata passed away peacefully at Sherman Oaks Hospital in California, surrounded by family.

A baby girl who was born prematurely early Tuesday after her mother was shot and killed in Chicago was in critical condition, according to reports. Stacy Jones, 35, was due to give birth to her baby next month.

W.S. “Fluke” Holland was a drummer who played for Johnny Cash (1932 – 2003) and Carl Perkins (1932 – 1998), including on classic songs such as “Blue Suede Shoes” and “Ring of Fire.”Holland never trained as a drummer – instead, he was an air conditioning repairman who enjoyed going to see live music and sometimes found himself on stage with a young Perkins, thumping out a rhythm on the side of an upright bass.
