Beneath the Surface have now been appointed as the UK’s first AquaEye Ambassador after coming to the attention of the company that designed the machine.

Police Scotland divers spent several weeks looking for the dad-of-five's body but volunteers were able to locate him in just two hours using an AquaEye borrowed from another group.
Representatives of VodaSafe Inc., based in Canada, are set to travel to Scotland on March 16 to officially hand over the device and provide training to divers.

Thomas Stoddart, 39, who has campaigned tirelessly following the death of his cousin, told the Record: “This is an incredible legacy for Greig but it’s only the start. I’m determined to get many more of these devices in the UK.
“It’s absolutely crazy how a member of the public can reach out and a big company like this will step up to help. They’re really going above and beyond.
“If we can help even one family not go through what we had to go through, then it’s a job well done. The quicker the recovery, the better. It just brings closure.
“No one should have to stand at the water edge for days on end just wondering when and if they’ll get their loved one back. Hopefully one day we can recover someone who still has a pulse. That’s the goal to be honest.
