NFL star for the Los Angeles Chargers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers - has died suddenly at the age of 38. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in Florida confirmed on Monday that the body of the former wide receiver was found in a hotel room near Tampa at 11:30am local time.
Jackson played for 12 seasons in the NFL, spending six years with the Chargers - then based in San Diego - and then four with the Buccaneers before retiring in 2016. He was a Pro Bowl selection in 2009, 2011 and 2012.
