The BBC's Victoria Derbyshire Show is to be axed because its costs are too high, it has been announced.
It is unclear when the programme, which is named after its Ramsbottom-born host, will come off air.
BBC media editor Amol Rajan made the announcement on social media.
In a tweet put up on Wednesday evening, he wrote: "The Victoria Derbyshire Show is coming off air.
"I understand @BBCNews is committed to Victoria and the (award-winning) journalism of the show.
