EXCLUSIVE: Talent Agent Julian Cohen has joined Brian Wittenstein‘s Prototype Talent Agency.
Cohen moves to Prototype following several years at Verve, where he worked on careers for such clients as Milo Ventimiglia, Josh Hartnett, Nia Long, and more. At Verve, as the first hire within the then-newly formed talent department, Cohen helped to build out the department and its infrastructure. He began his career on the management side at Entertainment 360 under Suzan Bymel, where he moved up the ranks, being promoted to Talent Manager in 2019.
Cohen has discovered and developed many talented young actors over the years, with current and former clients including Keith L. Williams (Good Boys, Secret Headquarters), Herizen Guardiola (The Get Down), Sam Corlett (Vikings: Valhalla), Ahmed Elhaj (Black Cake), and Mika Abdalla (Sex Appeal, Snack Shack). He is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in Film.
“We couldn’t be more ecstatic to have Julian joining our team,” Wittenstein said. “His experience in the industry, coupled with his unique point of view on the agency approach, makes him an ideal person to add to the team.”
The addition of Cohen follows the recent hiring of Talent Agent Alex Rand-Lewis last December. Founded in late 2022, Prototype’s roster includes clients such as Italia Ricci (Designated Survivor, The Imperfects), WWE’s “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes (Arrow, Go-Big Show), Piper Curda (May December, Legacies), Anne Winters (The Orville, 13 Reasons Why), and RJ Mitte (Breaking Bad).
