Urgent appeal to find man, 79, who 'may be confused and disorientated'

Police have issued an urgent appeal to find a pensioner who may appear 'confused and disorientated'. Greater Manchester Police says Derek was last seen yesterday (September 2).
The 79-year-old, from Salford, was seen in the Little Hulton area of the city. Derek's surname has not been given by the force.
Officers are concerned for the pensioner's welfare and are urging the public for help. Anyone who sees Derek is asked to contact GMP as soon as possible.

In a post on Facebook this afternoon, a spokesperson for GMP Salford said: "Can you help us find Derek, aged 79, from Salford? Derek was last seen at an address on Little Hulton in Salford on Friday, September 2.
"Derek may appear confused and disorientated. Officers are concerned for his welfare and want to make sure he is found safe and well."
Anyone who sees Derek or has any information that could help GMP establish his whereabouts is urged to contact police on 0161 856 5043, quoting reference number 2808 of September 2, 2022.
