EXCLUSIVE: We’ll be seeing more of Tony King on Tyler Perry‘s Sistas. Branden Wellington, who heavily recurred as the character in Season 6 has been promoted to series regular for the current seventh season.
Wellington’s King is a tall and handsome man who has been parking next to Danni and listening in on her phone conversations. He has learned a lot about her and is obviously smitten with her.
Season seven picks up three months after the conclusion of Season 6, as the women face a whirlwind of changes: new relationships emerge, and their perspectives on life, love, and career evolve. Andi and Jordan build a promising foundation amidst Jordan’s decision to run for city councilman, and despite Gary’s betrayal, Andi attempts cordiality for the sake of their daughter, Penelope. Danni is in a promising relationship with Tony, and grapples with therapy and faces challenges in her newfound confidence. Karen, pregnant and recovering from a salon loss, navigates the grand opening of “Karen’s Fresh Start Beauty Salon,” disrupted by Zac’s demands and Pam’s evolving focus on a hair care product. Sabrina seeks career advancement, contemplating her future with Rich, while Fatima supports Zac and juggles law school.
Sistas is executive produced, directed and written by Tyler Perry. Michelle Sneed also serves as executive producer for Tyler Perry Studios.
Wellington is best known for his role as CO Jarod Young on Netflix’s Orange is the New Black as well as a role on Russian Doll. He also starred as the lead in the short film When It All Falls Down and can be seen in the award-winning indie feature Inez & Doug & Kira on Amazon Prime. Wellington won an Emmy for writing a spoken-word themed broadcast open titled TV Dreams In A World

We often talk about some filmmakers who are their own subgenres. Wes Anderson, for example, doesn’t make comedies or dramas.
Love Island viewers were left taken aback as Kaz Kamwi delivered a brutally honest review of her ex-boyfriend Tyler Cruickshank's past behaviour in their relationship, which ended just over two years ago. The islander was blindsided by the return of Tyler, whom she got together with during the 2021 series, during the previous episode, but during tonight's, 23 January, she laid down her true opinions. Determined to find out why Tyler, 28, had behaved in the way he did back then, as the former couple acknowledged that their relationship had ended very soon, Kaz, 29, started grilling him.
Tyler Hynes is one talented actor, and his resume with the Hallmark Channel is quite extensive.

Emily Longeretta The Kansas City Chiefs are continuing to lean into romance. The team, which has made more headlines than ever this season thanks to tight end Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift, is celebrating the playoffs season with a whole new campaign titled ‘Tis the Preseason. (Is that a nod to Swift’s “‘Tis the Damn Season”? You be the judge.) Part of that campaign is a new trailer for a movie titled “Falling for Football.” A spoof on all the cliches of a made-for-TV movie, while celebrating the Chiefs Kingdom, the video stars Hallmark Channel staples Tyler Hynes and Janel Parrish; her character hates the postseason after being left at the altar for a playoff game, while he works at the Chiefs’ merchandise store.
