A man was arrested after damaging a police car in an act of vandalism. The 30-year-old man was arrested on Friday evening (April 29) after climbing on and jumping on the ‘brand new’ police vehicle in the city centre.

Two men have died following a crash between a car and a motorbike.
The men, aged 20 and 21, had been on an off-road Suzuki motorbike before the crash occurred at around 11am on Friday, April 15.
Emergency services including an air ambulance, the fire crews and multiple police cars all raced to the location in Oldham, Greater Manchester.
Tragically, both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
Their families have been informed of their deaths and are being supported by specialist officers, the Mirror reports.
The driver of the Ford 4x4 assisted police with their enquiries as officers remained on High Barn Street until around 2pm.
Several could be seen working in a small area which was being shielded by fire service screens and emergency vehicles..
However, no arrests have been made.
One women told the Manchester Evening News : "I saw it on Facebook seconds after it'd happened.
"A woman said there'd been a crash and the helicopter was coming so there were lots of people looking out for it."
Another added: "I just walked past about an hour ago and saw the crash. It looks quite bad, I feel so sorry for everyone involved."
Sergeant Phil Shaw of Greater Manchester Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: "My thoughts go out to the families of the two young men who have tragically lost their lives today after this awful incident.
"We are doing what we can to understand how this collision came to be to ensure that the families of both victims are given the answers they need, and our specialist officers are offering them support at this devastating time.
