A man has been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure in Trafford.
Yesterday (April 21), police released an appeal for information after a man walked up to a teenager waiting for a bus in Trafford and started to perform a sexual act in front of her.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police were called to Wood Lane, in Partington, just before 7.45am on Thursday. When they arrived they established a man had walked up to a young teenage woman as she sat waiting for a bus at around 7.30am, exposing himself and performing a sexual act before walking away.

The man, who was described as a slim Asian male in his mid-30s and around 5'9" tall, was wearing a dark coloured cap, a dark jacket, and blue trousers at the time of the incident.
In a statement at the time, PC Charlotte Barnes, of GMPs Trafford Neighbourhood Team, described it as a ‘frightening incident’ for the teenage victim. This morning (April 22), police provided an update to say that officers had now arrested a male on suspicion of indecent exposure. The male remains in police custody.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: “In regards to our appeal yesterday relating to an indecent exposure within the Partington area we are able to provide the following update.
“Earlier this morning officers from the Trafford West Neighbourhood team arrested a male on suspicion of indecent exposure. The male is currently in police custody awaiting questioning. Updates will follow in due course.”
