Police have charged a 23-year-old man with careless driving following a five-car pile-up that closed a motorway for six and a half hours - minutes after the road had re-opened following an earlier incident.

Two men have been charged with attempted murder after an alleged 'stabbing' in a Scots home, which saw a man being airlifted to hospital.
Emergency services raced to an address on Paton Drive in Larbert, Falkirk, after receiving reports of an alleged ssault at 6.45pm on Saturday.
A 36-year-old man was flown to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.
Staff there say the man's condition is "serious but stable".
Police previously said that two men, aged 21 and 22, had been arrested in connection with the alleged incident. The force have now confirmed the pair have been charged with attempted murder.
Officers have reassured the safety of the public and say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.45pm on Saturday, 25 June, officers were called to a report an assault ongoing within an address at Paton Drive, Larbert.
“Emergency services attended, including the air ambulance, and a 36-year-old man was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where medical staff describe his condition as serious, but stable. "Two men, aged 21 and 22, have been arrested and charged with attempted murder in connection with the incident, and both are due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Monday, 27 June.
"Officers want to reassure the public they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident."
