A pair of burglars branded 'active and experienced' by police have been jailed over a series of house raids.
Wayne Farrell, 38, and Sean O'Sullivan, 47, 'stole whatever property they could lay their hands on', detectives said as both men were locked up.
They broke into five properties in Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire at the beginning of 2019.
Both men were convicted of conspiracy to commit burglary.
A judge at Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court today - Monday - jailed Farrell, of Stoneyvale Court, Rochdale, for nine and a half years and O'Sullivan, of Wasp Mill Drive, Wardle, Rochdale, for eight years.
Farrell and O'Sullivan broke into a home on Troutbeck Close, Bury, on January 22, 2019, and stole jewellery and a VW Tiguan from the driveway.
During the second burglary, on February 18, a house on Ravenstone Drive, Halifax, was targeted.
Whisky, designer clothing and two cars – a Vauxhall Mokka and VW Polo – were stolen.
A third burglary, days later on February 23, saw a Jaguar XK and sentimental jewellery taken from a property on Summerseat Lane, Bury.
Vehicle and house keys were stolen in a fourth burglary on 9 March on The Gabriels, Shaw, Oldham.
The force said the fifth burglary also took place in Bury, but no details were given.
GMP said detectives from its Serious and Organised Crime Group were able to link the burglaries and link them to Farrell and O'Sullivan.
Farrell was arrested at his home, where a search uncovered stolen car keys, mobile phones and a large number of crow bars.
O'Sullivan was arrested two months later.
At his home a vehicle searched was found to contain a black Balaclava, gloves, and numerous tools including a lump hammer, a screw driver and bolt cutters, police said.
