TWICE‘s Nayeon has released the music video for ‘ABCD’, the lead single of her sophomore mini-album, ‘NA’.Nayeon’s new music video opens with the TWICE singer walking down a busy street following a car crash, with drivers and onlookers seemingly unable to take their eyes off her. The clip then jumps through different time periods and locations, with K-pop idol always flanked by a group of followers.“A you’re gonna B my babe / Everytime you C me / Fall deeper deeper babe / Hey listen to me now / ABCD over and over again / I’ll teach you how to fall in love,” Nayeon sings on the R&B-infused pop song.Speaking about her new mini-album at a press conference yesterday, the K-pop idol said that she wanted to showcase her “cool, powerful and bold” self with this project, per Yonhap News Agency.“As I’m not a full-time soloist, I wanted to make an album that leaves a strong impression whenever I get the chance,” she added.
“If my previous album represented the most lovable and bright version of myself, this one is about being cool and strong.”Aside from ‘ABCD’, Nayeon’s ‘NA’ mini-album also features a number of other notable songs. They include ‘Heaven’ with Sam Kim, ‘Magic’ in collaboration with KISS OF LIFE‘s Julie and ‘HalliGalli’, produced by AKMU‘s Lee Chan-hyuk.‘NA’ is Nayeon’s highly anticipated follow-up to her debut mini-album ‘IM NAYEON’, which was released in June 2022.
