September is a big month for Amazon Prime as it finally launches the long awaited Lord of the Rings TV show - The Rings of Power. While this is the biggest new release on the platform this month there’s plenty of other films and shows arriving on Amazon Prime too.
New arrivals include a rap musical series, a comedy horror as well as critically acclaimed 2020 film Tenet. Whether viewers are looking for a documentary, a comedy or new TV show to binge, Prime has something for everyone this month.
Amazon often drops random selections throughout the month too so viewers may see their favourite films appearing without warning. By the same token there’s a lot leaving the streamer this month too so keep an eye out for those.

The showstopper for this month is The Rings of Power, arriving on Prime on September 2. This Lord of the Rings prequel will have a weekly episode release so fans cannot binge watch the whole thing in one go.

While The Rings of Power might overshadow much this month, Jungle and Prisma are set to be exciting and interesting shows that shouldn’t be missed.
