Every so often a TV show comes along that completely captivates audiences and has them second guessing every little twist and turn. The latest drama that has sparked such ‘water cooler’ moments up and down the country, and set social media alight, is ITV’s Trigger Point. The six-part series, led by Line of Duty actress Vicky McClure, sees her character Lana Washington trying to get to the bottom of an elaborate bomb plot. Recent episodes have seen Lana, who has tragically lost both best mate Joel ‘Nut’ Nutkins (Adrian Lester) and brother Billy (Ewan Mitchell), correctly predict that her fellow bomb disposal operative John Hudson (Kris Hitchen) was the man behind the co-ordinated London attacks.
But fans are convinced John can’t be acting alone and that someone we’ve already met is really pulling the strings behind the scenes.
