Coronation Street fans think they have worked out Lydia Chambers' downfall after she destroyed Adam and Sarah Barlow as part of her sinister revenge plan. On Friday's episode, Lydia, who has been making Adam's life hell and scheming for weeks to get revenge, was confronted by his wife Sarah as she asked whether they were having an affair.To which Lydia, who has been creating fake evidence and clues to support her lie, pretended that she was in a relationship with Adam, leaving Sarah heartbroken.The duo were soon interrupted by the arrival of Adam to which he quickly insisted that Lydia was lying through her teeth as he chased the sinister newcomer onto the cobbles.

A furious Lydia then responded: "Is that all it was? Is that really all you think happened? You messed up my life, you dismantled me bit by bit. "Tell you what I’m going to do, Adam, I’m going to dismantle your life like you dismantled mine.
Piece by piece. And there is nothing you can do about it." Soap watchers were quick to question whether Adam had recorded the confrontation on his phone, as he could use it as evidence he is being setup and prove to wife Sarah it's a lie.
