The episode saw Lana, aka 'Wash', still reeling from the tragic death of her brother and viewers saw her drinking and dancing around alone in her home.
But after discovering there was a main culprit for the attacks, Lana was determined to return to work and she had no time to waste as there were reports of a suspicious item at a university building where a radio show was being recorded.
After having a run-in with colleague John Hudson and accusing him of grooming Billy before his death, Lana decided to keep him close and the pair headed off into the building.
The pair found a device with a timer and two phones attached.
Lana instructed John to go outside and inform their colleagues to stay alert to anyone who may be carrying two phones.
John at first refused but Lana put her foot down and carried on getting things ready to disrupt the bomb.
With the suspect shot, Lana thought she had more time - until one of the phones began to ring.
