Greater Manchester Police raided a rowdy illegal house party that was taking place in spite of Covid regulations - only to find their fellow officers among the revellers.
The force received a report of an illegal gathering at a city centre flat on Friday night, said to be ‘in full swing’.
When they got there, they found that more than half of those partying were in fact probationary officers on the force.
