Tom Prior stars in this exclusive clip from his new movie Firebird!
The 31-year-old rising British actor not only starred in the movie, but he also served as a co-writer and producer.
In the clip, his character talks with Roman, played by Oleg Zagorodnii, about his “silly little dream” of being a soldier-turned-actor.

Firebird is based on true events during the Cold War at the height of 1970s Communist rule, and follows a handsome, soulful young soldier (Prior) who embarks on a clandestine love affair with a charismatic fighter pilot (Zagorodnii) newly stationed at his Air Force Base.
Set in a time when men in uniform caught having a sexual affair were dealt a severe punishment, this is a story of two men who risked their freedom — and their lives — as their loyalties were torn between love and service to their country. Watch the trailer here!
While Firebird has already had a limited theatrical release, the film is coming to digital and on VOD. The film will be released in the US on digital NEXT Friday, June 3, for $14.99, and on Video on Demand for $5.99!
Included with the digital release will be a special feature, a making of documentary.
