Paramount’s Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse, starring Michael B. Jordan, will now open on October 2 this year instead of September 18 — essentially a two-week shift. This comes in the wake of Sony moving Venom: Let There Be Carnage from October 2 to June 25, 2021.
Currently over the Oct. 2-4 period, Paramount is planning an expansion of Aaron Sorkin’s The Trial of the Chicago 7, while Universal has the Tom Hanks sci-fi feature Bios.

Meghan Markle is reportedly willing to testify in her legal case against a British newspaper over the release of a private letter she had written to her father. For the unversed, the sequel to Venom was originally scheduled to be released in October 2020. But now, as per the decision of the production house, the movie is slated to be released in June 2021.
In The Heights‘ release date has been officially pushed back until 2021.
The longer that the film industry remains shuttered by the Coronavirus pandemic, the more of a ripple effect that’s going to be seen once things are back to normal (or whatever passes for normal). One such impact is going to be in future release dates.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage, the sequel to Venom, has been moved back by over eight months amid the Coronavirus pandemic. The press release for the date change also revealed the full title to be Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
