Josie Gibson has recently been taking to the main stage on This Morning, hosting alongside bestie Alison Hammond, and fans have been delighted to see the star's efforts. After years of presenting occasional segments on the hit ITV show, Josie has stepped up to host entire episode in recent months, featuring alongside Philip Schofield, Holly Willoughby and her best pal Alison. In our new interview celebrating International Women's Day, the mum of one told OK! she's learned so much from one This Morning host in particular, after admitting she felt "nervous as hell." "I’ve learnt so much from her. She’s very special, she’s got a very good energy." Josie went on to say that Holly and her pal Alison are some of the most inspirational women in her life. Speaking about how Alison always has words of wisdom for her, Josie explained: "Even before I’d presented the main show on This Morning, if I would ever go into the main show she’d say to put me on open talkback – where you can hear the whole gallery [talking] – to practise.
"I’d say, 'I don’t want to do that,' and she’d say, 'You’re doing it, if you don’t push yourself, you’re never going to get further.'" Josie also turns to Alison for help with her pre-show jitters. "Whenever I’d get nervous before a job, she’d tell me to calm down and say that if I’m having a good time, they’re having a good time," Josie added. "She should write a self-help book!"
