Dr. Uchenna Okoye tragically died on Friday, September 15 aged 53.
A close friend of the TV doctor's has claimed that she died with 'no apparent health problems' after collapsing at her home.
The late star - who was often watched by thousands on ITV show This Morning and 10 Years Younger in 10 Days - had a normal "busy week" before her death, reports the Mirror.
She had watched Moulin Rouge in the West End and attended an industry event, as well as spent time promoting her new Mysmile dental product, according to Mars Webb, her 'best buddy' of 20 years.
Mars shared that Uchenna's family and friends are currently waiting for the coroner's reports "to find out exactly what happened".
"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death," Ms Webb told MailOnline.
"She was a happy, healthy and busy person, with no apparent health problems. Her passing has come as a total shock to everybody - it came totally out of the blue."
The news of her tragic death was confirmed on her social media account, with her loved ones making the sad announcement. They said: "We are heartbroken to announce that Dr Uchenna Okoye sadly passed away after a sudden illness on Friday 15th September 2023.
"We know many of you will be devastated and shocked to see this post. We ask for your prayers and some privacy at this difficult time. We will be in touch in the coming days."
The Mirror reports that Uchenna died after "collapsing suddenly at her London home".
Tributes flooded in, including from co-star Holly Willoughby. Taking to Instagram, the This Morning presenter shared the original post from her loved ones.
Writing on her Instagram Stories, Holly told her followers: "Unbelievably sad to hear of the passing of @druchennaokoye. We first worked
