This Morning's resident gardener Daisy Payne has opened up on the "completely mad" moment she was first asked to appear on the hit ITV show.The blonde beauty detailed being sat in her comfy clothes watching Netflix when the email came in, and she thought it was a "joke." She told OK!: "An email came in from the producers of the show. I mean, as if!? I thought it could have been a joke or a wind up, because that sort of thing just doesn’t happen right!? Now here we are." And the producers certainly weren't joking, and Daisy has now been a regular feature on the ITV show, where she shares her top gardening tips and hacks. Appearing alongside regular hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, Daisy shared some of her lovely gardening tips. Discussing the moment with OK!, she shared: "It was nerve-wracking but I loved it.The studio is so cool, everything behind the scenes is slick and snazzy. I really had to pinch myself when I stood in the studio as we went live at the start of the show.
"I mean, a year ago, I was just loving doing my gardening on Instagram and YouTube, now here I am on National TV! Crazy. I’m just a girl who loves gardening and I feel very lucky to now be sharing my passion on the best show on telly." From YouTube videos to live TV, Daisy admits that she was "quite critical" of herself when her This Morning career began. "Now, I’m trying to be less so and I feel like my confidence is growing.
