This Morning's Cat Deeley's 'frightening' health struggle: 'I didn't know what was happening'

Cat Deeley has opened up about a "frightening" health scare she once suffered on live television.
The TV star recalled the incident on This Morning, during a discussion about migraines and ways to help ease the symptoms of one. Cat, 47, and her co-host Ben Shephard, 49, were joined by by a specialist on the ITV show as they discussed a new migraine 'wonder drug' on Monday, 15 April.
The symptoms of a migraine were described for viewers at home and a blurred image was shown to portray the symptoms. The topic of the segment prompted Cat to open up about her own experiences with migraines.
She revealed she suffers from "tunnel vision" when having one. "Mine goes from the outside in, actually more kind of like tunnel vision," Cat told her co-stars on the show. She went on recall an incident on So You Think You Can Dance - the TV show she has hosted in the US since 2006.
"I got my first migraine on live TV, it was actually really frightening as I didn't know what was happening to me and I'd never had one before. But now, I get them occasionally and I can see symptoms straight away. If I act straight away with something like migraine relief, it gets rid of it," she said.
Cat previously opened up about her migraine experience. Speaking to the Daily Mail in 2017, Cat recalled the terrifying scare: "That was the worst experience ever. I had no idea what was happening, which was the scariest part.
"I got tunnel vision halfway through the show and my head felt like it was exploding. But what can you do? You are live in front of millions. You push through on adrenalin and then collapse when the show is over." It comes after ITV was forced to hit back at claims they are hoping for a U-turn in ratings following news that This Morning
