Alison Hammond has been supported by her fans, followers and a few famous faces after she hit back at 'nasty' comments. The presenter is currently in the midst of a month-long break from This Morning where she hosts in the Friday slot alongside Dermot O'Leary.
She announced at the start of this month that she'd hosted her last show for now and would not be back fronting the ITV daytime show until April as she took time off while she moved home and spent time with her teenage son, Aidan.
During her time away, she shared a video of her Instagram Story showing an empty kitchen in her Birmingham-based home, the 49-year-old said: "Thank you for the memories. I love this house but it's time to say farewell," before sharing the video with Spice Girls track 'Goodbye' accompanying it.

She then later gave an exciting update as she settled into her new abode. Again taking to her Instagram Story, the Great British Bake Off host shared a video showing the view from her window. It showed a large garden with rolling green fields behind it.
"Feeling very emotional knowing that without all your support and love I wouldn't be looking at this view," the TV star started to type alongside the clip. "This is my new garden I would draw as a child but never dreamed it would be a reality. Thank you." She then added: "Wish mum was here to see it," referring to her mother Maria who died in 2020.
