This Morning fans stunned as Dermot O'Leary doesn't know what B&M and Home Bargains are

This Morning fans were treated to a new face on-screen during Monday's Bank Holiday show. Alison Hammond was joined on the ITV daytime show by Craig Doyle as he made his presenting debut on the programme.

It was announced prior to today’s show that a newcomer would be hosting with Alison, who usually presents This Morning with Dermot O’Leary. Craig, 51, has made appearances on the daytime talk show, but this is the first time he has been on the couch as a presenter.This Morning viewers have since taken to social media to gush over Craig, and called for him to become a permanent member of the show.

Alison Hammond is set to present Bank Holiday's instalment of This Morning alongside an unexpected guest.The show's usual hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are set to take the day off, and Dermot O'Leary, who usually presents she show on Fridays and holidays, will not be presenting the ITV daytime show either. Instead, Alison, who recently enjoyed a sun-drenched Dubai getaway, will be joined by the show's roving reporter, Craig Doyle.

This Morning fans were left quite amused as Dermot O’Leary was pied live on air during Friday’s episode. The 48 year old was in the middle of an interview with presenter Chris Tarrant at around 10:47am when he was slammed in the face with a pie by a masked Phantom Flan Flinger who had crept into the ITV studios before running back off set. Guest Chris appeared unfazed after the pie smash and kept on talking while Dermot’s co-host Alison Hammond burst out laughing immediately afterwards in reaction.The hilarious pie smash was in joking reference to Chris' children’s TV show Tiswas, which he presented in the 1970s during which time he was often seen having a pie slammed in his face live on air.

This Morning viewers don't think Dermot O'Leary was very impressed after he was pied live on the show. The presenter was back at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Friday alongside co-host Alison Hammond.
