This Morning fans were left furious when a woman appeared in a segment and ate 20 chicken nuggets in 60 seconds.
'Professional eater' Leah Shutkever rammed the nuggets down her throat in one minute but her 'talent' did less than impress viewers.
Allison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary looked on as she wolfed down 20 chicken bites in a minute, even though it appeared that she was still chewing after the time was up.
But viewers were absolutely disgusted by the piece, with some fuming and referencing the fact earlier this week on Lorraine's morning show, they had been talking about how to reduce food waste since the cost of living is hiking.
Before Leah appeared, former Big Brother contestant Glynn Wise was on screen to talk about his time on Big Brother but also paid tribute to Nikki Grahame, who sadly passed away last year after battling an eating disorder.
And after sharing a picture of Nikki on screen, Dermot then announced that next up would be their 'speed eating' segment.
Many took to Twitter to vent their anger at the 'misguided editorial decision'.
One wrote: "What a misguided editorial decision to feature someone devouring a plateful of chicken nuggets in 30 seconds when so many families are struggling to feed their families. Think more carefully."
Another added: "Who thought the chicken nugget lady was a good piece? When people are broke, struggling to feed their family and pay bills your showing this! Little bit out of touch."
While one said: "one minute #Lorraine talking about unnecessary food waste next min some ridiculous woman needlessly stuffing in chicken nuggets. Good shout too when some ppl struggling to feed kids. Had to turn off."
Another added: "OMG just had to pause that woman stuffing chicken nuggets
