Marvel series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier wrapped up its first season recently and it has been receiving a lot of praises from fans. The show unveiled Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson as the new Captain America and it turned out to be an emotional moment for many to see a Black character take on the Cap's mantle.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier shed major spotlight on two underrated yet fan-favourite characters - Sam Wilson aka Falcon aka the new Captain America (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes aka Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan).

Many of us enjoyed “Falcon & Winter Soldier,” but according to head writer Malcolm Spellman, a major superhero cameo was nixed by Marvel brass.
