Marvel series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier wrapped up its first season recently and it has been receiving a lot of praises from fans. The show unveiled Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson as the new Captain America and it turned out to be an emotional moment for many to see a Black character take on the Cap's mantle.

Many of us enjoyed “Falcon & Winter Soldier,” but according to head writer Malcolm Spellman, a major superhero cameo was nixed by Marvel brass. The series had many things going on between social commentary of being black in America and exploring the exploitation of black citizens at the hands of the American government, highlighted directly with Isaiah Bradley, the black Captain America that the government hid from the public.

*SPOILERS ALERT* The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Ep 6, which was the finale episode of the popular Disney+ series, saw Bucky Barnes aka Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) finally find family in Sam Wilson aka Falcon aka the new Captain America's (Anthony Mackie) fam. Moreover, we also see Bucky taking Sam's advice and making amends for those he did wrong as Winter Soldier.
