Julian Sands went missing more than five months ago.The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department reported that the remains were reported by hikers at about 10 a.m.Deputies responded and transported the victim's remains to the county coroner's office for identification, the sheriff's department disclosed.The 65-year-old Sands was reported missing on the night of Jan. 13 on Mt. Baldy, a popular hiking area located in the San Gabriel Mountains, about 50 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles. Sheriff's officials announced last week that they resumed the search for Sands on June 17, with over 80 search and rescue volunteers, deputies and staff taking part.

William Earl Variety won 13 first-place awards Sunday night at the Los Angeles Press Club’s 65th annual SoCal Journalism Awards, more than twice as many as any other entertainment publication. The lucky 13 awards represented a historic high for Variety at the SoCal Journalism Awards, topping the previous best of 12 first-place prizes the magazine earned in 2018. Hikers have discovered human remains in a California mountain area where British actor Julian Sands disappeared over five months ago, according to authorities. The 65-year-old from Otley in West Yorkshire failed to return from a hike in the Mount Baldy area of the San Gabriel mountains on January 13.

In April, “Bargain” became the first-ever Korean series to win best screenplay at the Canneseries Festival in France. The series stars actors Jun Jong-seo (“Money Heist: Korea”) and Jin Seon-kyu (“Extreme Job”) and is an adaptation of director Lee Chung-hyun’s 2015 short film of the same name. Director Jun Woo-sung, who was part of the production team of the short, picked up the story and developed it into a six-part series. “Bargain” revolves around a group of strangers who gather at a remote motel with ulterior motives – seeking to bargain. Unlike the original film, the series follows the characters after an unexpected earthquake traps them inside the building. With no one to trust, they must find a way to survive.
