The characters have placed an emotional grip on fans’ hearts and with Season 3 ahead, more heartache is sure to lie ahead. However, one Reddit use thinks that they’ve found an easter egg that hints at beloved character Conrad Fisher’s future. (Warning spoilers below!)During Season 2, before the beach house is packed up, a photo can be seen sitting crooked on top of the mantel above the fireplace.
The photo appears to be a snapshot of Conrad and Jeremiah’s father, Adam, playing in the waves with his two young sons. Off to the side, Conrad is visible, standing in a very similar pose, looking like the man in the photo. The Redditor pointed out that the photo may have been placed there as some foreshadowing of Conrad’s future and a hint that he will end up becoming the father of two children himself.
Of course, others agreed.“The Summer I Turned Pretty” book series ends with Belly Conklin makes her final choice between Conrad and Jeremiah Fisher. The books conclude with Belly and Conrad getting together and ultimately getting married, with Jeremiah there to watch. We don’t know what happens after that.
