Whilst Valve is going to be testing “new titles constantly and [will] continue past launch,” this acts as a simple way for players to figure out if their favourite games work on the Steam Deck.As outlined in this blog post, games in each player’s library are given a compatibility rating, revealing if a game is Steam Deck verified, playable (may require extra work), unsupported  or untested.By signing in at this link, users can see the compatibility list of their own Steam library.

Dick Van Dyke, 96, dances in Valentine’s Day video with much-younger wife

The clip featured a cover of the 1958 Doris Day song “Everybody Loves a Lover” performed by Arlene & the Vantastix, his paramour’s band. The three-minute duet, which boasts over 100,000 views on YouTube since it was posted Monday, starts off low-key with Silver, 50, crooning the catchy love ballad while checking herself out in the mirror. Things heat up when the singer and producer walks over to her husband of ten years, who’s sitting in a floral-themed chair buffing his nails. After belting out a few verses, the white-haired “Mary Poppins” star struts up to his wife, whereupon the duo start performing the two-step and other scintillating synchronized steps.Throughout the showcase, the lovebirds kiss and embrace while, at one point, Van Dyke cheekily covers up a nude statue’s privates with a piece of cloth. The hot clip also featured a trumpet solo from Tony Guerrero and the Vantastix backup singers Eric Bradley, Bryan Chadima and Mike Mendyke.Viewers were impressed that the “Dick Van Dyke Show” host could still cut a rug at nearly 100-years-old.“Absolutely fantastic…may Dick Van Dyke live forever! Happy Valentine’s Day,” said one awestruck commenter, while another wrote, “Much love to both of you adorable creatures!”One fan gushed, “Time stands still when Dick Van Dyke turns it on.

Epic won’t support ‘Fortnite’ on Valve’s Steam Deck

So far, Valve’s portable handheld PC is impressing the people who have had a bit of time with it, and with the previously announced “Deck Verified” program, there are high hopes that not only will the software work well, but most games will be clear and up front about the kind of compatibility with the new system, so there’s no confusion. Most games will work in some form or another due to Steam Deck being an open platform where people with the know-how can install anything they want, but it seems Epic Games won’t be supporting ‘Fortnite’ on the Steam Deck, at least not fully.

Steam Deck praised by developers ahead of its release

Steam Deck will start shipping worldwide at the end of February, and multiple developers have talked about what they like regarding Valve’s portable PC.Shipping from February 28, the Steam Deck is almost out in the hands of players, but it’s already been in the hands of developers for some time, as they’ve been adjusting their games and testing the hardware to make sure titles run on it when it launches. In preparation for the launch, PC Gamer talked to plenty of developers to get their opinions of the Steam Deck.Jonathan Smårs, of Iron Gate said: “I was surprised how well games work on it without any changes, and how good it feels to play on it. Valheim worked from day one on Steam Deck without any changes”.“The graphic settings need to be set down a bit compared to my high end PC of course, but I’m still impressed with what such a small handheld can handle without any platform specific optimizations,” Smårs added.“The touchpad for the mouse, I dare say, might be one of the best I’ve ever used,” added Raymond Doer, owner of SixtyGig Games.

COVID vaccines. The actor hit out at the podcaster in light of COVID misinformation spreading on his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, which Rogan works on in an exclusive deal with Spotify.More than 270 members of the science and medical community signed an open letter, which called Rogan’s actions “not only objectionable and offensive but also medically and culturally dangerous”.“COVID is not an opinion-based situation and Mr Rogan thinking that his opinion or disclaimer for the lives he personally has affected and caused losses of – it’s not an opinion,” Stone said to TMZ.“Mr Rogan is risking people’s lives with his idiocy and his professing that his thoughts about COVID are opinions.“Infectious diseases are science, and they are fact-based situations, so the pretence that these are opinions is dangerous.“He should put a disclaimer that he’s an asshole and that his behaviour is dangerous and affecting people’s lives and deaths.”Rogan publicly responded to the situation earlier this week (January 31), as many artists have started removing their music from Spotify in protest. In a video clip posted to Instagram, Rogan addressed “some of the controversy that’s been going on over the past few days”.He told fans: “I don’t always get it right. I will do my best to try to balance out these more controversial viewpoints with other people perspectives so we can maybe find a better point of view.”Admitting that it is a “strange responsibility to have this many views and listeners,” he promised “to do my best in the future to balance things out”.
