Filming on Season 2 has just started, with Joey Hartstone, who was a writer on Season 1, as new showrunner, Deadline has learned. Additionally, I hear Keith Machekanyanga, who recurred heavily as Lil Mo in the first installment, has been promoted to series regular for Season 2.

Roxy Music‘s greatest hits album ‘The Best Of Roxy Music’ is set to be reissued on vinyl for the very first time.Originally released in 2001, the 18-track collection includes classic singles such as ‘More Than This’ (1982), ‘Over You’ (1980) ‘Angel Eyes’ (1979) and the Bryan Ferry-fronted group’s 1981 cover of John Lennon‘s ‘Jealous Guy’.The record will arrive on 2LP 180-gram black vinyl and limited yellow vinyl D2C exclusive editions on September 2 via Virgin/UMC.Both versions boast restored and enhanced artwork and lyrics, and have been remastered at half-speed by Miles Showell at London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios. Starcrawler have announced details of a new album called ‘She Said’ along with the release of a video for its title track – watch it below.The band’s first album for a major label will come out on September 16 via Big Machine, and follows the release of new single ‘Roadkill’ last month.The LA-based five-piece – comprising frontwoman Arrow De Wilde, guitarists Henri Cash and Bill Cash, drummer Seth Carolina and bassist Tim Franco – released their self-titled debut album in 2018, following it up the next year with ‘Devour You’.Speaking about the new song in a statement, De Wilde said: “’She Said’ was one of the first songs written for this album. Marlon Williams has shared details of his third studio album, ‘My Boy’, as well as its second single.The album, announced today (June 15), serves as the official follow-up to 2018’s ‘Make Way For Love’. The announcement was pre-empted on May 3 by the release of what has now been revealed as the album’s title track, which came out last month.

Liam Gallagher and Brian May are among the acts who will pay tribute to late Foo Fighters rocker Taylor Hawkins at a special concert later this year.  Hawkins died in March at the age of 50 when the Foo Fighters were in the middle of their tour in Colombia.  The band recently announced a tribute concert will be taking place at London’s Wembley Stadium on September 3, and they have now confirmed the star-studded line-up.

Simple Minds have shared new single ‘Vision Thing’, which is the first to be taken from the band’s upcoming eighteenth studio album ‘Direction Of The Heart’.The euphoric ‘Vision Thing’ features music written by guitarist Charlie Burchill and lyrics by frontman Jim Kerr, with the song described as a tribute to Kerr’s “best pal” – his late father who passed away in 2019.The new single is ‘Direction Of The Heart”s opener and is followed by eight new tracks, which were all recorded at Hamburg’s Chameleon Studios. ‘Human Traffic’ features a guest appearance from Sparks’ frontman Russell Mael, and elsewhere the album includes a cover of The Call’s 1983 single ‘The Walls Came Down’.‘Direction Of The Heart’ is the follow-up to 2018’s ‘Walk Between Worlds’ and is out on October 21.

The Rolling Stones have postponed Friday’s (June 17) show in Bern, Switzerland after Mick Jagger contracted COVID.The band announced yesterday (June 13) a last-minute cancellation of their concert at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. It followed frontman Jagger testing positive after experiencing symptoms of COVID upon arrival at the venue.Now, the rockers’ gig at Wankdorf Stadium in Switzerland has also been postponed until a later date.
